Project Module and Issues

So, after using the Project module and Project Tracking module for the past few days, there is something that has dropped out that I don't like.

Creating a new issue is easy. But, to change the status on it is, in my opinion, not intuitive.

If you have used Drupal before and edited any documents on the site, you will have seen the "View" and "Edit" tabs at the top of the page. Clicking the "Edit" tab does exactly that, it allows you to edit a node. However, to change the status of an issue, or who it is assigned to, you have to add a comment.

Unless I'm missing something, this is the only way to do it. It just doesn't seem the best way.

I am guessing the logic of doing it that way, is so that you explain why the changes have been made in the comment. It's a nice idea, but log messages should be good enough for that too in some cases. I just wish there was an option to allow me to edit an issue without having to add a comment first.
